Meet Rev. Dorothy

Reverend Dorothy Blandford is a minister with the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry, a trans-denominational faith which honours everyone's spiritual journey. Prior ministerial studies include world religions, extensive grief support and thirteen years with Religious Science International, during which time she became a practitioner and staff minister of compassionate care at the White Rock Centre for Spiritual Living in British Columbia, Canada.

Rev. Dorothy came to ministry in her later years. She was a spiritual seeker in her youth and has been on a journey of mind-body-spirit connection all her life. She holds a Master’s Degree in Metaphysical Science, and is currently preparing her Doctoral dissertation, specializing in Holistic Life Coaching.

In the 1980s, Dorothy became interested in Hospice care and that has led her to a ministry of compassionate care, where she counsels those who have suffered a loss in their lives. Whether it is the loss of a family member, friend or pet; Rev. Dorothy assists clients to talk their way through their grief and pain. Her booklet, Stepping Stones© takes the reader through a five-step spiritual journey of support leading to grace and inner peace.

Her extensive business and entrepreneurial background, and authoring the books – Only When I've Done It Will I Not Have To Do It™ and Stepping Stones© - give Dorothy strong coaching skills.

While Rev. Dorothy's area of specialization is compassionate care, she takes great pleasure in performing personalized ceremonies of all kinds, be they weddings, memorial services, christenings or pet blessings.
